Helping Startups Succeed

Startups are growing in number every day. But many simply don’t succeed, robbing our society of great innovation. Luckily it doesn’t need to be that way.

Surrounded by ambitious, intelligent, and highly motivated individuals, I had the opportunity to meet many founders, hear from regional investors, and experience all the startup sector can offer. Founders are producing amazingly innovative ideas, though many are struggling to make it work. In a very challenging and demanding work environment (locally, regionally, and even internationally), startups are increasing in number as more people turn away from traditional jobs to take the harder, but hopefully more rewarding path.

I’ve always loved meeting founders and thinking they’re on the right track. More often though first-time entrepreneurs could use a bit of help; after all, I was one of them. Some of the warning signs are when founders cannot clearly describe what they’re building, they are not sure if anyone actually wants what they’re building, or have been working on their business for a long time but haven’t launched anything yet.

Though networking is a very important key factor for success, challenges just get bigger and more complex as your business grows. As entrepreneurs, we’re more focused on getting stuff done and just keep going. If we slow down a bit and seek to learn from the successes and failures of others, I believe society will see more innovation and more people building new things successfully. While there are a wealth of online and offline resources available about startups that are general in nature, there’s tremendous value in having mentors who understand your business to share thoughts, ideas, and experiences.

I work closely with founders to understand what makes their businesses unique and provide personalized advice on how they can improve their chances of success. I combine the learning and experiences of many founders into the best advice and put it in easily applicable practical terms.

Let’s get started!
